I love it when mindfulness meets science!  In this episode, we have a fascinating discussion about a holistic approach to stress management, incorporating intellect, emotions, body and spirituality.  Ky Russell, a teacher of stress management and health at the San Jose State University teaches us how the automatic reptilian stress response that we're all at the mercy of can actually be helpful in stress management if we just understand what's going on.  We already know about meditation and yoga but apparently when in the stress cycle that you use each technique affects it's effectiveness.
